This Cookie Policy explains how Moonshot Ventures Inc. ("Basin") uses cookies and similar technologies on usebasin.com and basin.site. Read it with ourPrivacy Policy. Cookiebot (Usercentrics A/S) is our consent platform. The live name-level list is in the declaration below.

How We Use Cookies

  • Strictly necessary: Keeping you signed in, Cookiebot consent storage, a first-party cookie that remembers, for that browser session, which product page you started signing up from so sign-up starts in the right place, cookies and browser storage that remember interface choices such as dismissed banners and the sidebar's state, or carry a message or setting from one page to the next, Google reCAPTCHA's security cookies on our sign-up, password reset, email confirmation, and testimonial pages, a conversation identifier and a note that our website chat has been opened, both in your browser's session storage, and, if you generate a site preview, a 30-day cookie that lets you return to that preview and claim it. These cannot be switched off.
  • Statistics: Measurement on our website and in the Basin dashboard. Set only after Statistics consent where required.
  • Marketing: Advertising and conversion measurement, first-party cookies that remember the campaign or referral link that brought you to us, and Rewardful affiliate attribution. Set only after Marketing consent where required.

If you embed Basin form analytics on your own site, first-party visit and visitor cookies are set on your domain. Disclose them in your own notice and, where the law requires consent for them (as it usually does in the EU), load the analytics script only after your visitors consent.

Our chat widget keeps two items in your visitors' session storage: a conversation identifier, so the chat continues across pages, and a note that the chat has been opened, so it doesn't open by itself or show its new-message badge again that session. Hosted forms that use reCAPTCHA or Turnstile load that provider's script, and reCAPTCHA may set cookies. Hosted forms also load any lead-certification service, Google Tag Manager container, or address-autocomplete provider you add (see our Privacy Policy). Disclose these in your own notice too.

Consent and Regional Defaults

Where consent is required, analytics, advertising, and attribution cookies are not set until you consent.

  • Everywhere except the United States (excluding California) and Canada (excluding Quebec), including the EU, UK, California, and Quebec: Statistics and Marketing cookies are blocked until you grant consent.
  • United States (excluding California) and Canada (excluding Quebec): Statistics and Marketing cookies are on by default, and you can turn them off at any time. In Canada we rely on your implied consent.

Managing Your Preferences

Change or withdraw consent with the button below. Withdrawing consent stops further non-essential tracking but doesn't affect tracking done before you withdrew it. You can also delete cookies in your browser. Disabling strictly necessary cookies will affect the Service.
