Basin now validates phone numbers and email addresses in real time — before a submission ever reaches your inbox.
Instead of relying on format checks alone, Basin queries live carrier data and mail server records to confirm that the contact information your forms collect is genuine and reachable.
What's new
Phone Validation
Verify that submitted phone numbers are active and of the line type you require. You can optionally restrict submissions to mobile numbers only, or block VoIP lines from services like Google Voice and Skype.
Email Validation
Check syntax, DNS/MX records, mailbox reachability, and disposable address detection — all in one pass. A verdict-based strictness system lets you decide whether to block only clearly invalid addresses or apply a stricter standard.
Client-side feedback
Both validators work client-side in Form Studio and with BasinJS 2.11, showing users inline feedback as they type — so bad data gets caught before submission rather than after.
Flexible enforcement
Choose Warn to flag invalid submissions for review, or Block to reject them outright. Mix and match per form based on how critical data quality is for that use case.
Credits
Each validation check uses one credit from a shared pool. Plans on our current pricing include a monthly allowance:

Need more? Additional credits can be purchased at any time from your billing settings — larger packs come at a lower per-credit rate. You can also set up auto top-up so your balance never quietly runs dry.
