New: Preview Attachments Directly in Browser

You can now open file attachments directly in your browser instead of downloading them — perfect for quickly reviewing images, PDFs, and more without cluttering your downloads folder.
How it works
Head to Form → Settings → General and toggle on Preview Attachments in Browser. Once enabled, clicking any attachment link from your submission view will open the file inline in a new tab rather than forcing a download.
Supported file types
The following file types are supported for inline preview:
- Images: JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP, AVIF, BMP, TIFF
- Documents: PDF
- Video: MP4, WebM
- Audio: MP3, WAV, OGG
- Text files
All other file types will continue to trigger a download regardless of this setting.
A note on security
Any attachment flagged by Basin's virus scanner will never be served inline — infected files always redirect to a safety warning page, keeping you protected even with this feature enabled.
